Getting Google-ing with c21
We recently did a site for a Barbra Streisand tribute show by the wonderful Carrie Woods. It’s a great looking site and you can hear Carrie sing like an angel, (listen to her hold that note at the end of the first demo track .) But better than that, for a site doing a Streisand Tribute show it is now number one , page one on Google for “Streisand Tribute Show”. The show is called “The Streisand Story”: if you Google that it’s number two, under the official Streisand site, but on top of the Streisand Wikipedia page.
Carrie is pleased.

Ellie's Cottage, a Holiday cottage in Hastings Old Town
Ellie’s Cottage is one of the cutest holiday lets or rental cottages we have seen, and as it is in the beautiful All Saints Street in Hastings Old Town we had trouble choosing which bits to show: they are all terrific!
So we went the traditional route, which is best for a traditional fisherman’s cottage, although one with all mod cons. That working fireplace is fab, just right for a lovely snuggle in after a bracing seaside walk; in summer the two patios will be the place to be.
Bookings started coming in as soon as the site went live, but they would…it’s just such a nice place, and such a great cottage for a holiday by the sea.
Art site gets sale on first day.
Anna Keiller’s new site which showcases her work as a ceramic sculptress, and was recently finished, had it’s first sale on the first day it went live.
This is a great mark of the quality and artistry Anna brings to her work, and also of the reach her new website gives to that work.
Or, to put it simply: Yippee!
Market doubles in four months
c21 has been working on the West Malling Farmers Market site for some months, and, to be honest we have had ups and downs. The market organizers and the local council are great, the stall holders are great, but the shops and restaurants are a wee bit slow coming forward.
Despite this, in four months the number of stalls has doubled, the number of visitors has doubled, and a lot of people are happy and well fed.
Which is not all down to the website, but the site is a good part of some good marketing.
A Web Revolution
Old fashioned web designers are weeping into their Starbucks coffees as a revolution overtakes them. Great looking, efficiently working brochure sites are here for small businesses without the big buck bills…
